Mama_Bear: I met papa bear at Sav-on, we both worked there. We were friends for about a year. He took me dirtbike riding, we played on a softball league together, and that lead to our dating.
Me: How did you know the relationship was getting "serious"?
Mama_Bear: I think when i couldnt imagine not knowing him. (Awhhhh)
Me: Do you think that a long period of going out together before marrying helps the marriage?
Mama_Bear: Absolutely, we dated for 4 years before we got married. You reely know someone after just a year, you have to experience good times as well as the bad times and if you can work through the bad times and still be friends then you have a good chance of it working out. I mean look at us know, we have a lovely 16 year old son who is handsome, caring, loving, breathtaking, intelligent, athletic, musically inclined, artistic, adorable, and so on.
Me: How important is it to date a variety of people?
Mama_Bear: It is VERY important. There are sooo many different individuals with different personalities and dating a variety of different people kinda helps you realize values that are important to you. Not everyone has the same values, you have to find the person that shares the same values as you. It is usually not the first person you fall in love with.
